GuidePoint Security is seeking a Territory Account Executive to manage and develop relationships with clients in the cybersecurity sector. This remote position focuses on growing existing accounts and acquiring new mid-market accounts in the Maryland/DMV area, requiring proactive networking and a consultative sales approach. The role involves meeting sales goals, managing leads through Salesforce, and participating in industry organizations.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity.
  • Current enterprise security space experience preferred.
  • Strong relationships with key accounts in the territory required.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is required.
  • Ability to professionally present to large groups and executive clients.

Responsibility

  • Consistently meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients.
  • Manage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
  • Participate in creation and closure of services proposals.
  • Work with vendors to understand and position their technologies.
  • Participate in field marketing to generate interest among clients.
  • Set expectations and maintain communication with clients and vendors.
