GuidePoint Security is seeking separating service members and military spouses for a remote commercial fellowship in cybersecurity. The program offers hands-on technical development, real-world security response, and collaborative project work, providing participants with valuable experience in the cybersecurity field.
Qualification
- Must be separating from active-duty service within the next 18 months
- Eligible for internship/fellowship through DoD Skillbridge, Army Career Skills Program, or Hiring Our Heroes
- Located within the United States for the duration of the fellowship
- Basic knowledge of networking and common security tools
- Passion for information security
- Preference for those currently serving in IT or cyber positions
Responsibility
- Work closely with industry-leading subject matter experts
- Complete in-house training programs
- Engage in hands-on technical development
- Participate in real-world security response
- Collaborate on project work
- Shadow team members and positions
- Attend partner-led vendor training and certifications
