The Stock Administrator role is crucial for managing the equity program for India-based employees, ensuring compliance and effective communication regarding equity transactions.

Qualification

  • Detail-oriented with experience in equity administration.
  • Strong understanding of equity management systems (e.g., Shareworks, Carta).
  • Knowledge of local and international equity regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills for employee support and education.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in People, Payroll, Legal, and Finance.

Responsibility

  • Administer equity transactions in the equity management system (e.g., Shareworks, Carta) including new grants, exercises, releases, and terminations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for India-based employees regarding equity-related questions, taxation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with global payroll and tax teams to ensure proper tax withholding, filings, and compliance for equity transactions in India.
  • Monitor vesting schedules, terminations, and other triggering events and ensure accurate system updates.
  • Assist with education sessions and communications for local employees to ensure understanding of their equity awards.
  • Stay up-to-date on India equity tax and regulatory requirements; partner with external counsel or consultants as needed.
