The Agent team is tasked with creating new learning algorithms and agent paradigms, working closely with other teams to enhance agentic systems. This engineering-focused role involves defining architecture and building scalable systems to support research efforts in AI.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in Python development.
- Previous roles as a Staff, Principal, or Senior Engineer with relevant responsibilities.
- Proven experience building, scaling, and shipping end-to-end solutions involving Machine Learning models (LLMs/VLMs).
- Proficient in at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow) or agentic framework (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI SDK).
- Expertise in instrumentation, observability, and monitoring for complex systems.
- Solid understanding of coding standards, architectural patterns, and test frameworks.
Responsibility
- Define and lead the technical architecture, design, and long-term engineering roadmap for agent research platforms.
- Develop and maintain complex, high-performance, and scalable systems that serve as the foundation for research.
- Mentor and guide other engineers and researchers on the team, fostering technical excellence and best practices.
- Conduct thorough code and design reviews, ensuring quality, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with researchers to implement, test, and productionize new agent logics and learning algorithms.
- Drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and observability for research infrastructure.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, tooling, and processes within the Agent team.
- Champion technical innovation and proactively address technical debt to accelerate research and development.
