The Software Engineer (DevOps) role involves building and scaling cloud infrastructure for the AI platform, ensuring reliability, automation, and developer productivity across AWS and Azure environments.
Qualification
- 3–5 years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles.
- Experience running production systems on AWS or Azure (EKS, ECS, or AKS).
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills (Terraform, Helm).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or GitOps.
- Understanding of networking, security groups, DNS, WAFs, and certificates.
- Observability mindset with knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Responsibility
- Own infrastructure automation by building and maintaining Terraform modules, Helm charts, and reusable CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions).
- Scale the Kubernetes platform by operating and improving EKS clusters, adding new services, enhancing security, and optimizing deployments.
- Enhance observability by implementing metrics, logs, and tracing using Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and synthetic monitoring.
- Improve release reliability by enforcing safe deployment patterns and managing environment promotion flows.
- Support developer self-service by extending tooling for app teams, including environment scaffolds and automated provisioning.
- Apply security and compliance measures such as least-privilege IAM and secret rotation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product pods to embed reliability and incident response.
