The Supply Chain Manager will lead strategic sourcing for critical components, ensuring the commercial success of the supply chain while collaborating with various departments to build a resilient supply base.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement for high volume manufacturing.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Deep category knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional work-streams with engineering, operations, finance, and legal.
Responsibility
- Define and own category strategies for key components and assemblies.
- Achieve or exceed cost targets through data-driven modeling and negotiations.
- Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Manage business risk through scenario assessments of capacity and logistics.
- Drive supplier readiness across prototype, pilot, and mass production builds.
- Develop and execute logistics and warehousing strategy in partnership with factory operations.
- Escalate supply, cost, and quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
