Hitachi Digital is seeking an Exchange/O365 Administrator (SharePoint) to manage and support SharePoint Online, ensuring effective collaboration and secure information sharing. The role involves working with business units to configure SharePoint sites, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SharePoint administration and knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6–10 years of experience in SharePoint administration (Online and/or on-premises).
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collection administration, and content management.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell for SharePoint management and automation.
Responsibility
- Administer and support SharePoint Online.
- Manage site collections, permissions, content databases, and features for collaboration and secure information sharing.
- Work with business units to build and configure SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
- Monitor system health, usage, and performance using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, retention, and security policies.
- Support integration with other M365 tools (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for SharePoint functionality.
- Assist in migrating legacy content to SharePoint Online using tools like ShareGate or Microsoft Migration Tool.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access, workflows, and document management.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint features and updates.
