The Senior Software Engineer role involves architecting and building backend solutions for the HitPay platform, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability while collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend web development.
- Mastery of PHP, Laravel, and MySQL; experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of API design principles and RESTful services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
Responsibility
- Architect and develop robust backend solutions for the HitPay platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and efficiency.
- Lead the design and implementation of new business and financial tools, leveraging customer feedback and aligning with product strategy.
- Solve complex technical challenges, delivering innovative and reliable solutions to enhance system stability and performance.
- Collaborate on platform architecture, focusing on backend optimization and seamless integration with frontend systems.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and mentorship to maintain engineering excellence across the team.
