IXL Learning is seeking a Public Relations Associate to enhance its strategic communications initiatives. The role involves collaborating with the PR Manager to boost brand awareness through media engagement and internal communications. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and a passion for education, working with notable brands in educational technology.
Qualification
- BA/BS degree
- 3-6 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, and/or journalism
- Demonstrated track record as an excellent storyteller
- Exceptional writing skills across various formats
- Ability to work cross-functionally with partners
- Creative and strategic thinking skills
Responsibility
- Develop strategy and execute tactics to grow IXL Learning’s presence in media outlets
- Create press releases, pitches, statements, and other external communications materials
- Identify and develop content for thought leadership opportunities
- Evaluate award opportunities and draft nominations for IXL Learning's innovations
- Support proactive media relations projects, including researching reporters and coordinating outreach
- Identify new ways to tell IXL Learning's story and engage with target audiences
