The Team Lead – Inventory Control at JD Logistics is responsible for overseeing inventory management operations, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and leading a team to optimize stock management processes. The role is based in Edison / Perth Amboy, NJ and is a full-time position.
Qualification
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily inventory control operations, ensuring real-time accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct and supervise cycle counts, audits, and investigations into inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory tracking processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
- Train and mentor inventory personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies and operational standards.
- Work closely with inbound and outbound teams to ensure seamless stock movement and proper documentation.
