Juniper Square is seeking a Principal Engineer for its Compliance team to design and architect compliance features, provide technical leadership, and enhance the compliance stack. The role emphasizes building scalable and secure systems while mentoring team members in a values-driven organization focused on digitizing private markets.
Qualification
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting large scale systems in production.
- Expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, Pyramid, Django.
- Experience with SQL database schema design and query optimizations.
- Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with continuous integration and Infrastructure as Code.
Responsibility
- Design and architect features on the compliance roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership to level up team members and drive best practices in engineering.
- Shape the software stack for scalability, stability, and efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the compliance stack and collaborate with product owners and design.
- Build and maintain high-quality, secure, and scalable systems, contributing through coding and monitoring production.
