Klaviyo is hiring an Engineering Manager for the Flows Insights & Management team in Boston (hybrid: 3 days in the office). You will lead a group of full-stack engineers to build and evolve Klaviyo's Flows product, including multi-channel sending (email, SMS, push), intelligent personalization, and related reporting, impacting thousands of brands that rely on Klaviyo daily.
Qualification
- Proven experience leading and mentoring cross-functional engineering teams.
- Track record delivering customer-facing, full-stack features.
- Strong architectural and systems design skills for scalable, reliable software.
- Experience with multi-channel engagement platforms (email, SMS, push) and intelligent personalization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with product managers, designers, and support teams.
- Ability to own initiatives end-to-end, from scoping to release and impact measurement.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to align on product vision and delivery.
Responsibility
- Lead a team of engineers delivering full-stack, customer-facing features across the Flows product.
- Set technical direction for multi-channel Flows (email, SMS, push), including intelligent personalization and future channel expansion.
- Own end-to-end execution: scope initiatives, break down work, align dependencies, and deliver high-quality releases on predictable timelines.
- Drive architectural decisions that prioritize scalability, reliability, and maintainability across services, data models, and shared component systems.
- Partner with product managers, product designers, support, and other engineering teams to extend and evolve the Flows product.
- Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a collaborative culture and supporting performance and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment with customer needs.
