Qualification
- 5+ years of QA/automation experience in backend systems or trading platforms, preferably fintech or crypto.
- Strong experience designing and executing test plans, including manual and automated testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing distributed backend services, APIs, market data gateways, and matching engines.
- Proficiency in performance testing, security testing, and accessibility testing.
- Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, designers) and ability to drive QA processes.
- Familiarity with Rust-based services and API testing; knowledge of Rust is a plus.
- Strong bug triage, debugging, and release-quality mindset.
Responsibility
- Create comprehensive test plans before feature development, defining manual and automated testing strategies.
- Perform hands-on manual testing during development cycles to validate new features before automation.
- Balance manual exploratory testing with automation to catch edge cases that scripts might miss.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to define QA processes for a mission-critical trading platform.
- Lead automation initiatives end-to-end: strategy, implementation, CI/CD integration, and scaling coverage.
- Drive performance, security, and accessibility testing to deliver a top-tier experience for traders.
- Proactively document, report, and triage bugs to improve release quality and velocity.
