Lendable is a rapidly growing fintech company focused on providing innovative credit solutions. They are seeking a Junior PHP Engineer to join their UK Loans team, where the candidate will work on enhancing customer journeys and optimizing lending platforms using modern technologies.
Qualification
- 3 - 6 years of experience in software development
- Modern PHP development experience (PHP 8.0+)
- Good understanding of a modern PHP framework like Symfony or Laravel
- Automated testing skills (unit, integration, functional)
- Desire to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment
- Must be based in/near London and able to commute to the office 3 days a week
Responsibility
- Build and integrate new APIs to enhance the customer journey
- Optimize lending platforms for better performance
- Engage in architectural discussions to improve system design
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to solve complex problems
- Participate in automated testing to ensure code quality
