LILT is seeking freelance translators specializing in Manipuri Theology translations. The role involves translating Christian Theology materials and requires candidates with relevant experience and a background in Theology. This is a remote position offering access to advanced translation technology and a supportive community.
Qualification
- Native Manipuri speakers only
- Must have experience in Theology
- Minimum of 2 years of translation experience or a Linguistics/Translation degree
- Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
- Experience in translating religious texts or materials
Responsibility
- Translate Christian Theology materials from Manipuri to English and vice versa
- Ensure accuracy and quality in translations following terminology and reference materials
- Collaborate with the LILT Translator Community
- Utilize LILT's NMT technology for translations
- Participate in training and support sessions for using translation tools
