The Perception Intern at Mach9 will work on critical projects involving 2D image and 3D point cloud models for object detection in urban environments. The role focuses on enhancing core products through machine learning and computer vision, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in geospatial technology.
Qualification
- Strong programming skills in Python with a focus on algorithmic problem-solving.
- Experience with heuristic or geometry-based algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or Jax.
- Familiarity with computer vision tasks.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
Responsibility
- Develop prototypes for detecting paint lines and curbs on roadways.
- Implement real-time detection models, balancing accuracy and speed for edge mapping hardware.
- Assist in the development and tuning of machine learning models to improve performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members on complex tasks and projects.
- Apply machine learning techniques to solve real-world geospatial problems.
