Mariana Minerals is seeking a motivated Metallurgist to enhance domestic critical minerals supply chain operations. The role involves optimizing mineral processing, conducting metallurgical tests, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Qualification
- 3–7 years of experience in mineral processing, with exposure to hydrometallurgical and flotation circuits.
- Strong understanding of heap leach dynamics, SX/EW systems, flotation chemistry, and comminution fundamentals.
- Skilled in metallurgical test design, data analysis, and performance optimization.
- Experience with metallurgical modeling software such as METSIM or HSC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibility
- Optimize metallurgical processes across heap leach pads, SX/EW plants, flotation circuits, and comminution areas.
- Design and execute metallurgical test programs, including column leach tests and flotation tests.
- Track and report metallurgical performance through routine sampling and analysis.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and geology teams to integrate metallurgical insights into decision-making.
- Champion safety and compliance in all metallurgical work.
