Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in developing Python libraries
- Experience maintaining open-source software
- Strong product sense focused on developer ergonomics
- High level of customer empathy and good communication skills
- Ability to work in-person in NYC or Stockholm office
- Familiarity with modern data/ML/AI tools and workflows is a plus
- Experience with Typescript, Go, or Rust is a plus
Responsibility
- Develop high-quality Python libraries with a broad user base
- Maintain and improve open-source software
- Enhance developer productivity through beautiful interface design
- Collaborate directly with users to understand and solve their problems
- Work closely with the team to implement advanced Python features, especially async programming
