The Senior Engineer position in the Migration Services team at MongoDB focuses on architecting and managing automated, low-downtime data migration services for the MongoDB Atlas platform. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and solve complex technical challenges in a cloud environment. This position can be performed remotely in Ireland or from the Dublin office.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focused on backend systems
- Skilled in writing large-scale, distributed backend systems in a compiled language (Java, C#, Go, etc.)
- Comfortable working across the stack of a modern web application (e.g. React, TypeScript, Enzyme)
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Led the launch and maintenance of new features in production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Solve technical problems in a distributed environment
