Monks is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, supporting the Data Strategy team for a major client in the Netherlands. Qualification
- Strong foundational understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Experience in designing and building data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data cleansing and basic data warehousing concepts.
- Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Good data literacy and understanding of how technical data applications create business value.
Responsibility
- Develop data pipelines and solutions across cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Support the authentication and integration of platform APIs and help automate end-to-end ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Participate and collaborate in the design and implementation of data models and data warehouses.
- Develop data transformation recipes that efficiently transform raw data into structured formats suitable for data warehousing.
- Support and maintain documentation for data models, including architecture diagrams, schema, definitions, and metadata.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines’ issues to ensure timely data availability.
- Collaborate with the data science team to integrate and build ML models and Gen-AI applications.
- Communicate progress and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
