Monks is looking for a proactive QA Automation Engineer in Colombia to enhance quality standards and streamline the software development lifecycle. The role involves designing and maintaining testing frameworks for web, mobile, and backend applications, integrating tests into CI/CD environments, and promoting QA best practices within Agile teams.
Qualification
- Advanced English level, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated experience in QA automation and testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in using tools like Postman and GraphQL for API testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain the testing strategy and automation frameworks for applications across various platforms (web and mobile).
- Ensure the quality of backend systems by creating API and service tests, incorporating proper testing using specialized tools like Postman and GraphQL.
- Integrate automated test suites into the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure continuous execution and fast feedback to the development team.
- Develop and generate clear, detailed testing reports to monitor product quality and the success of continuous execution.
- Lead the adoption of QA best practices and Agile methodologies within the development teams to ensure quality is incorporated from the earliest stages of the SDLC.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers within a fast-paced, agile development environment.
