The Senior Software Engineer in Core Infrastructure at Moveworks will architect and enhance the AI infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability. The role involves collaboration with various teams, building foundational services, and improving system observability. Candidates should have experience in backend distributed systems and familiarity with cloud technologies.
Qualification
- 2+ years of experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining backend distributed systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
- Experience with containers/Docker and cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with open source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Istio.
- BS+ in computer science or a related field.
Responsibility
- Architect and build core infrastructure and foundational functionalities such as distributed key value store and event streaming.
- Collaborate with machine learning, search, product, data, and frontend teams to understand infrastructure needs and influence the infrastructure roadmap.
- Improve observability and reliability of systems by enhancing logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure.
- Define methodologies and metrics to measure performance of microservices and improve scalability.
- Deliver deadline-sensitive work that is interdependent with other engineering teams.
