The role involves leading competitive proposals, negotiating complex deals, and building a high-performing commercial team during a critical growth phase as the company prepares for its maiden satellite mission.
Qualification
- Experience in commercial leadership within the aerospace or satellite industry
- Proven track record of securing high-value contracts
- Strong negotiation skills for complex deals
- Ability to navigate government procurement processes
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams
Responsibility
- Build and execute account strategies for government agencies and large enterprises
- Track pipelines across government portals and enterprise sourcing calendars
- Orchestrate compliant submissions and coordinate clarifications
- Close supply, licensing, and co-development agreements
- Structure partnerships with primes, SMEs, and universities
- Maintain a transparent pipeline with stage gating and metrics
- Feed market insights into roadmaps and pricing decisions
- Work with Legal/Compliance on export control and procurement rules
- Represent NewOrbit at industry events and deliver compelling pitches
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing commercial team
