The intern will work closely with analysts to collect, review, and analyze sports data, contributing to insights that inform business strategies for major sports organizations. This internship is part of a course-credit requirement for students enrolled in Australian tertiary courses.
Qualification
- Interest in sport and the business of sport and entertainment
- Driven and diligent self-starter
- Meticulous attention to detail
- High academic grades
- Experience with Excel is ideal
Responsibility
- Use internal apps and software to collect and store data required by analysts
- Collect and clean sports match data to explain trends in audiences and brand exposure patterns
- Analyze and provide insights on camerawork and brand exposure during sports broadcasts
- Summarize trends in Futures sports fan surveys
- Perform other administrative tasks requiring strong attention to detail
