OnePay is a consumer financial services app focused on helping individuals achieve financial progress. The Software Engineer on the Risk team will develop backend services for fraud detection and transaction monitoring, contributing to the security and reliability of financial systems.
Qualification
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, preferably in fintech or payments.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, or similar) and database technologies.
- Experience with risk, fraud, or compliance systems is a plus.
- Strong drive and proactivity in building and executing projects.
Responsibility
- Build resilient backend services for fraud detection, identity verification, and transaction monitoring.
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs for real-time risk and fraud prevention.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design and deploy protective systems for customer accounts.
- Implement integrations with third-party risk and compliance platforms for secure data flows.
- Contribute to architectural decisions balancing scale, security, and reliability in financial systems.
- Create clear documentation to support collaboration and operational excellence.
