The Enterprise Security Engineer at OpenAI will be part of a small IT team focused on ensuring the security of internal information systems. The role involves developing and implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and advising employees on best practices. This position can be remote or involve relocation to San Francisco.
Qualification
- Experience in protecting and managing macOS fleets.
- Experience deploying and managing endpoint security solutions.
- Experience with public cloud service providers like AWS and Azure.
- Experience with identity and access management frameworks and protocols, including SAML, OAUTH, and SCIM.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement security measures to protect company information assets.
- Monitor internal and external systems for security threats and respond to alerts.
- Contribute to and enforce IT and Security policies and procedures.
- Work with IT to harden infrastructure using best practices in AzureAD, GSuite, and Github.
- Advise employees on best practices for maintaining security of endpoints and network infrastructure.
- Devise sharing controls and monitoring to protect company data, including DLP.
- Employ models like 'secure by default' and 'zero trust' for secure environments.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in internal systems.
- Use AI-driven models for improved security detection and response.
- Educate employees on data security importance and best practices.
