

Full Stack Engineer, Fleet Scheduling

OpenAI is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for its Fleet Scheduling team to develop intuitive and scalable web applications that manage AI workloads across supercomputers. The role involves designing tools for resource tracking and job scheduling, focusing on performance and usability in a hybrid work environment.
Qualification
- Significant experience in full-stack development with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend technologies (Python, Go, or Node.js).
- Experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications for complex distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, distributed databases, and cloud infrastructure (especially Azure).
- Execution-focused with attention to usability, performance, and scalability in enterprise-scale systems.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments with tight timelines and evolving priorities.
Responsibility
- Design and develop full-stack web applications for tracking and managing AI workloads in real-time.
- Collaborate with researchers and infrastructure teams to create intuitive UIs and scalable backends.
- Build data visualization tools like Gantt charts and dashboards for job scheduling insights.
- Optimize backend services for high data throughput and low-latency performance.
- Implement frontend components for seamless interactions with scheduling, storage, and compute systems.
- Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability across distributed supercomputing infrastructure.
