Oscar Medical Group is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – NP/PA – for Oscar Primary Care to deliver remote, virtual primary care to adults 18+, manage a patient panel across Georgia, Texas, Florida and additional states, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team while engaging with new virtual care tooling.
Qualification
- DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from an accredited program.
- Board certification (as indicated by the job description).
- Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.
- Experience delivering primary care via telehealth/virtual platforms (phone, video, messaging).
- Ability to provide care for adults 18+ and manage a broad range of conditions (e.g., DM, HTN, COPD, CAD).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with physicians, RNs, MAs, and other members of the care team in a virtual/remote setting.
Responsibility
- Provide care for your virtual panel of patients (18+) via phone, messaging, and video.
- Provide continuity of care to patients with a wide range of acuity, including chronic conditions (DM, HTN, COPD, CAD, etc.).
- Collaborate with physicians (MD/DO) on the care team for complex patients and escalated cases.
- Follow up on labs and imaging and maintain closed-loop communication with patients and other providers.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, medical assistants, and clinical supervision where applicable.
- Be available on call to respond to important lab escalations as they occur.
- Participate in collaborative care with virtual behavioral health specialists.
- Engage with new products and tooling being rolled out for the virtual care service lines.
