They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to design and scale their financial platform's backend systems, ensuring performance and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualification
- 7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend systems in production.
- Strong proficiency with Node.js and Typescript (or similar languages like Go, Java, or Python).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibility
- Design and scale backend services for financial products and APIs.
- Lead architectural decisions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Build and maintain services in a cloud-native environment using Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to design secure APIs and data models.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and technical mentorship.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and improve system design.
