Patreon is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Media Creation team, responsible for leading a cross-platform engineering team to enhance tools for creators. The role is hybrid, based in New York or San Francisco, and focuses on delivering consumer-facing product features that engage fans and support creators' needs.
Qualification
- 3-5 years of engineering management experience in a cross-platform team (mobile, web, backend).
- Experience leading the development of consumer-facing product features.
- Comfortable with fast-paced iteration, design review, and UX research.
- Ability to build a healthy, high-trust engineering culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibility
- Lead the Media Creation engineering team across iOS, Android, web, and backend.
- Manage the delivery of new tools that enhance the creative process for creators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ship new user experiences.
- Drive iteration on key product surfaces like Post Editor, Media Uploader, Content Viewer, and Sharing tools.
- Foster a healthy, high-trust engineering culture.
