The Head of Community will be responsible for building and nurturing a supportive community, developing partnerships, and managing patient engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community building, empathy, and strategic thinking, with experience in early-stage startups and patient advocacy.

Qualification

  • 5-8 years of professional experience
  • Proven track record of designing and managing customer-facing programs
  • Background in relationship building and partnership development
  • MBA education
  • Prior early stage startup experience (ideally seed/series A)
  • Experience in patient advocacy and partnering with healthcare organizations

Responsibility

  • Design, test, and implement engagement strategies for cancer patients and care-partners
  • Analyze community support funnel for improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and respond to requests from the website and app
  • Provide technical support to community members using Manta's digital tools
  • Develop and maintain relationships with non-profits and patient-advocacy groups
  • Facilitate patient-focused events, both virtual and in-person
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance patient community interaction
  • Create and expand patient support programs based on community feedback
  • Track program impact through qualitative and quantitative measures
