The Head of Community will be responsible for building and nurturing a supportive community, developing partnerships, and managing patient engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community building, empathy, and strategic thinking, with experience in early-stage startups and patient advocacy.
Qualification
- 5-8 years of professional experience
- Proven track record of designing and managing customer-facing programs
- Background in relationship building and partnership development
- MBA education
- Prior early stage startup experience (ideally seed/series A)
- Experience in patient advocacy and partnering with healthcare organizations
Responsibility
- Design, test, and implement engagement strategies for cancer patients and care-partners
- Analyze community support funnel for improvement opportunities
- Monitor and respond to requests from the website and app
- Provide technical support to community members using Manta's digital tools
- Develop and maintain relationships with non-profits and patient-advocacy groups
- Facilitate patient-focused events, both virtual and in-person
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance patient community interaction
- Create and expand patient support programs based on community feedback
- Track program impact through qualitative and quantitative measures
