Dealops is an early-stage company focused on creating an AI-powered revenue optimization and deal pricing platform for sales teams. They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and scale core backend systems, working closely with the CTO and contributing to the development of innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL
- Experience building complex backend systems with high reliability
- History of launching early-stage products end-to-end
- Comfortable working closely with customers and solving technical product problems
Responsibility
- Architect core backend systems for deal pricing, modeling, approvals, and workflow automation.
- Build scalable services using TypeScript/Node and PostgreSQL to support complex quoting logic and multi-step approval workflows.
- Design and extend the workflow engine for Sales & Finance teams with customizable conditions.
- Collaborate with the CTO to define the long-term systems roadmap across integrations and reliability.
- Integrate AI Agents for intelligent automation and productionize them within the platform.
- Develop admin tooling that utilizes natural language and LLMs to enhance onboarding efficiency.
- Manage the full lifecycle of features from design to implementation and reliability.
