The company is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist to work in either Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ, responsible for prescription verification, regulatory compliance, and improving patient health outcomes.
Qualification
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice (OH or AZ).
- Experience in prescription verification and drug utilization review.
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work opening and closing shifts as required.
Responsibility
- Verify prescriptions and conduct drug utilization reviews for accuracy and compliance.
- Review Prior Authorization requests and facilitate prescription transfers for timely medication delivery.
- Execute pharmacy projects and initiatives to enhance services and patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure patient safety and efficient workflows.
- Work on improving patient adherence to medication regimens for better health outcomes.
- Demonstrate ownership of pharmacy operations, focusing on productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
