Sr. Software Engineer, Backend
Pinterest is seeking Senior Full-Stack and Backend Engineers to join their Monetization and Core engineering teams. The role involves building robust frameworks and features that enhance user experience and empower developers. Candidates will work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to drive new initiatives from inception to release.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack or Backend Engineer
- Strong knowledge of backend technologies and frameworks
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale applications
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with automated testing practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in finding solutions
- Experience in product development lifecycle from ideation to release
Responsibility
- Build out the backend for Pinner-facing features to power the future of inspiration on Pinterest
- Contribute to and lead each step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation to release
- Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality
- Suggest new product ideas and features from a user perspective
- Employ automated testing to ensure high technical quality of features developed
- Design, develop, and operate large scale, distributed systems and networks
- Work with Engineering customers to understand new requirements and address them in a scalable manner
