Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior BIM/VDC Engineer to join their Infrastructure Development team, focusing on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries. The role involves managing and designing BIM models for large-scale projects, ensuring accurate digital delivery across multiple disciplines and teams.
Qualification
- Proven experience in BIM/VDC engineering and management.
- Strong understanding of BIM software and tools.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibility
- Provide both management and design skills in support of a detailed and accurate BIM model.
- Set the course for the digital delivery of the large and fast-moving project, working with discipline leads and executive management.
- Responsible for proper set up and maintenance of large, federated building models involving 8-10 design and engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate the model produced by the Design Team, Trade Contractors and other third-party stakeholders.
- Ensure collaboration and communication among various internal and external design teams across different geographies and time zones.
