Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer to join their Infrastructure Development team. The role focuses on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into new battery materials. Founded in 2019, Redwood is committed to localizing a global battery supply chain and driving the energy transition.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls design.
- Proficiency in control system design software and tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation.
- Experience in the battery or recycling industry is a plus.
Responsibility
- Perform I&C assignments with general direction and minimal supervision.
- Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for battery recycling processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of control systems.
