Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer to join their Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) team. The role focuses on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by managing construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The Project Engineer will collaborate with various departments and oversee construction scopes, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
Qualification
- Experience in construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction processes and compliance
- Ability to manage multiple scopes and contractors
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in project scheduling and budget tracking
Responsibility
- Work directly with the Construction Manager and Superintendents
- Manage specific scopes of construction including scheduling of trade contractors
- Resolve day-to-day construction issues
- Perform inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Track project schedule and budget
- Manage RFIs, Submittals, procurement/RFPs, and schedules for assigned scopes
- Collaborate with project management, infrastructure engineering, project controls, and procurement departments
