Redwood Materials is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to design and implement highly available systems and solutions, ensuring resilience and scalability as the company grows. The role involves collaboration across multiple teams to drive improvements and introduce automation in IT infrastructure.
Qualification
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-premise infrastructure technologies
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems
Responsibility
- Collect business & technical requirements and work with cross-functional teams to establish SLOs
- Design effective on-premise & hybrid systems & solutions with high availability & scalability, utilizing platform technologies including vSphere, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows
- Coordinate work across IT, Software, Industrial Controls, Engineering & Business teams to implement complete systems and ensure business needs are met
- Identify opportunities to automate deployment & management of IT infrastructure & systems to reduce manual efforts
- Implement monitoring & alerting systems for rapid response to incidents
