Reflect Orbital is seeking a GNC Engineering Intern who will take on significant responsibilities in the design, development, and testing of spacecraft components. The role emphasizes hands-on contributions and problem-solving in a dynamic startup environment. Ideal candidates are enrolled in relevant engineering programs and possess a mix of technical skills and a willingness to learn.
Qualification
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in aerospace engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering or related field
- Ability to work full-time onsite for a minimum of 12 weeks
- Experience in building and shipping complex and high-quality solutions
- Capability to work independently and seek guidance when necessary
- Understanding of fundamentals in orbital mechanics, spacecraft attitude dynamics, control systems, and state estimation
Responsibility
- Own the design, development, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of novel spacecraft components
- Build complete tools and testing setups, with an emphasis on fully completing and shipping your work
- Prototype and iterate rapidly
- Contribute to the success of the flying constellation
- Work collaboratively in a professional team environment
