Reflect Orbital is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to contribute to the design, development, and testing of spacecraft components. The role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with full-time team members in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are hands-on problem solvers who thrive in challenging situations and are willing to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks in-person at the Hawthorne, CA office.

- Comfortable facing challenges with no known solution
- Willing to be a hands-on individual contributor
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks in-person
- Experience building and shipping complex and high-quality solutions
- Capable of creating scrappy solutions
Responsibility
- Own the design, development, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of novel spacecraft components
- Build complete tools and testing setups, with an emphasis on fully completing and shipping your work
- Prototype and iterate rapidly
- Contribute to the success of the flying constellation
- Work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
