The role involves ensuring that all systems meet ambitious performance objectives, engaging in hands-on hardware operations, and influencing the entire product lifecycle from design to post-flight analysis.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in thermal engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of thermal analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience with rocket propulsion systems and their thermal requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Responsibility
- Ensure thermal systems meet performance objectives for the Terran R vehicle.
- Engage in hands-on hardware and operations related to thermal management.
- Conduct reliability analysis and trajectory design related to thermal performance.
