Qualification
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Responsibility
- Build highly scalable, available, fault-tolerant distributed data processing systems (batch and streaming systems) processing over 10s of terabytes of data ingested every day and petabyte-sized data warehouse
- Design data models and develop scalable data pipelines to capture different business metrics across various Roku devices
- Collaborate with business partners and engineering teams to collect metrics on existing and new initiatives
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance and efficiency
