They are seeking a Senior Research Engineer to lead the development of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) algorithm, specifically for optimizing chemical reactor designs using advanced computational techniques.
Qualification
- Strong technical depth in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Experience with GPU programming and differentiable simulation
- Practical experience in model validation and high-performance computing (HPC)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Experience with containerization technologies for deployment
Responsibility
- Lead development of differentiable CFD solvers for non-isothermal and reactive flow simulations on multi-node multi-GPU hardware using JAX
- Design, implement, and containerize code to ensure reproducibility, scalability, and ease of deployment across HPC GPU environments
- Develop optimized parallel linear solvers using FFT or other matrix decompositions
- Extend existing implementations of immersed boundary methods for complex geometries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate models and ensure high-performance computing standards are met
