AirOps is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver core features for their AI-powered platform. The role involves full-stack development, focusing on backend services in Ruby on Rails and frontend interfaces with React. The position is hybrid for Uruguay-based candidates and remote for those in Argentina, emphasizing collaboration and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience building production-ready software across the stack
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
- Solid experience working with React
- Experience with modern web development tools (e.g., TypeScript, Tailwind, Webpack, PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system design principles
- Experience building or maintaining third-party integrations is a plus
- Product-minded: able to balance engineering quality with pragmatic trade-offs to move fast
- Interest in or experience with Generative AI and related technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack features across the AirOps platform
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical solutions that meet user and business needs
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code in both frontend and backend systems
- Review code, mentor teammates, and help uphold engineering best practices
- Own and improve key parts of the application—from performance to architecture
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, data, and web technologies
- Contribute to a strong culture of experimentation, iteration, and shipping fast
