Skydio, a leading US drone company specializing in autonomous flight technology, is seeking Embedded Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2026. Interns will work on developing firmware that connects algorithms with hardware for drones and related products in a collaborative environment.
Qualification
- Junior, senior, or MS-level college student
- Industry experience in developing device-level embedded software or firmware
- Familiarity with bare metal and RTOS microcontroller code
- Experience with STM32 microcontroller products
- Knowledge of embedded Linux and Android platforms
Responsibility
- Develop and define functionality for internal teams and products
- Write and maintain embedded firmware for autonomous drones
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams
- Integrate and write code for embedded Linux and Android platforms
- Maintain associated Linux kernels and assist in electronics design
