Qualification
- Proven experience in reliability engineering, particularly with battery systems and electronics.
- Strong knowledge of Design for Reliability principles and thermal management.
- Experience with testing methodologies for batteries, including abuse testing and cycling.
- Ability to analyze large data sets to inform reliability strategies and improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibility
- Own battery reliability and guide the battery team in all aspects of reliability including thermal design and safety testing.
- Expand and execute battery test capabilities by specifying fixtures and conducting various tests such as abuse testing and cycling.
- Conduct failure analysis on electronics and battery subsystems to improve product reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability principles into product design and development.
- Analyze data from tests to identify trends and areas for improvement in battery performance.
