Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of mobile/web frontend development experience.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals with solid coding practices.
- Proficiency with React Native and TypeScript; experience with React Query, React Navigation, Reanimated (or similar) is a plus.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale frontend features; ability to own a product area.
- Experience consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs; understanding of data loading, caching, and error handling.
- Proactive, self-driven; comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; ability to build processes from scratch.
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and inclusive UI practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with designers to translate user requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
- Write clean, maintainable code using React Native, TypeScript, and related libraries (React Query, React Navigation, Reanimated).
- Develop reusable UI components and establish a scalable component hierarchy for the application.
- Implement UI functionality with React state management, hooks, props, and lifecycle methods; ensure accessibility and performance.
- Integrate frontend with backend services via RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance, handle sockets, data caching, and other complex frontend challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest React/mobile development practices and accessibility guidelines; contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
