SMX is looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to develop, customize, and support Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The role involves creating reports, interfaces, and extensions, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring system performance. This is a hybrid position based in Lackland, TX.
Qualification
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) technical development.
- Proficiency in Oracle technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
- Familiarity with Oracle Workflow and XML Publisher.
- Understanding of key EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects.
- Experience with data conversions and Oracle APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibility
- Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS.
- Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems using XML Publisher or APIs.
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
- Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity.
- Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
