SpaceX is seeking an Avionics Integration & Test Technician for the Starship program. The role involves working with electronic components, performing testing and validation, and supporting avionics hardware development. Candidates should have experience in manufacturing wire harnesses and using electronic testing equipment.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 1+ years of experience manufacturing wire harnesses or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
- 1+ years of experience using electronics equipment (e.g. DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, DAQs, etc.).
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability industry.
- Skill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity.
Responsibility
- Read, interpret, and work from released schematics and drawings as well as from uncontrolled documentation.
- Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
- Perform integration on a full system suite of electronics to include on-vehicle, ground segment, and ground support applications, documenting results clearly.
- Assemble and repair high quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components.
- Support the development of avionics hardware and procedural improvements via design, test, fabrication, and work instruction efforts.
